Company

I founded the furniture rooms with my father with a simple aim: to restore and recycle the best of furniture design so it doesn't cost a fortune.

We started together in 2004 from humble beginnings, restoring and selling our Antique and retro furniture and accessories through a small store in London. Since then thanks to all the customers who loved our products we now have a large store in Tunbridge wells

We also wanted the experience of buying antique Art deco and retro furniture online to be really easy. We carry all of the range in stock so you don't have to wait ages whether it is for a sofa or a bed. We deliver all our furniture ourselves when we can, because we believe that no one else will take as much care of our products as we will.

We are passionate about design we search high and low  across the UK and Europe sourcing Antique Art Deco and Retro Furniture - You can buy the whole range online, buy over the phone or pop into a store and get great personal service.

We care

We care about recycling. At The Furniture Rooms we recycle antique, art deco and 1950’s-1970’s retro furniture and restore it back to it’s former glory. All of our packaging is recycled.

The reproduction furniture we sell comes from suppliers who care. The painted furniture we stock comes from Steven Shell ltd who plant a tree for every piece of furniture made and boast a high standard of working conditions. some of The leather seating we sell comes from Halo furniture. Halo launched “Express Yourself” which is a registered charity whose aim is to make a difference to local and global worthy causes.
